The G&L Tribute SB-2 Black Frost Rosewood Fingerboard makes use of many innovative G&L design features. Somehow, they've managed to pack in so many excellent components yet still keep the price at a very respectable level. The G&L Tribute SB-2 definitely has a traditional look but as with many of their instruments, it builds on this to create the next step of evolution. The G&L pickups sound fantastic and with the comfortable Medium "C" neck shape, you'll find yourself moving up and down the neck with ease.

Dual Volume Controls
A simple yet effective choice, this gives independent control over the volume of each pickup. Where it really starts to get interesting is when you blend together the two pickups for some tonal choices not usually found on this style of bass.
G&L MFD Pickups
These Leo Fender-Designed pickups have been made in Fullerton, California, and take care of your low end tonal needs. Whether you slap, pop, pick, or strum, the Magnetic Field Design (MFD) split-coil and single coil pairing give you plenty of definition and power.
Saddle Lock Bridge
Leo created yet another innovative design with the Saddle Lock Bridge. The idea was to transfer more of the string vibration energy directly into the body end-grain for an extremely resonant sound. Think big, rich tones that cover a whole host of applications.
