What we say:

At A Glance:

This Maton EBG808JR is designed for acclaimed guitarist and singer Joe Robinson. As a life long Maton player it's great to see Maton release this guitar to replicate Joe's sound but also to show exactly why Maton are quality reliable instruments that last a life time. With some unique specs that keep it close to Joe and Maton's Australian roots we think you'll quickly fall in love with the Maton sound too!

Features We Love:

Tasmanian Myrtle

Keeping their roots close to Australia, this Maton guitar features Tasmanian Myrtle back and Sides, just like Joe's Custom Shop guitar. Not only does this give the EGB808JR it's own unique standout sound, but it also aids in the sustainability of Maton as a company but the overall climate as well, with no need to import woods from around the world.

Stainless Steel Frets

If you know Joe Robinson you'll no doubt know how hard he works, and it's no secret that many of his guitars have required re-frets with the amount of hours he plays. With this guitar you won't have to worry about that no matter how long you play. These stainless steel frets not only feel great even after 100's of hours playing time, but they last a lifetime.

Signature Maton Sound

As Joe has described, Maton has a signature "Zing". This can be heard in his playing as well as many other Maton guitars. It could be due to the unique woods they use, their design, or their build techniques, but it's there ready to make your chords pop and catch anyone's ear. Plugged or unplugged Maton have a sweet attention grabbing sound that just makes you want to play more.
