What we say:

At A Glance

The Left Handed Fender Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster Time Capsule in Faded Nocaster Blonde is a stunning recreation of one of the guitars that started it all - The 52 Tele!

This stunning recreation of an old school legend boasts a range of superb, vintage-era features including the '57 style Soft "V" neck profile, gorgeous and authentic sounding Hand-Wound '50-'51 Blackguard Tele® Singlecoil pickup set for accurate Tele twang and bite, and the fantastic '51 Modified Nocaster wiring, with its preset tone levels in the switching and blender control knob.

This guitar also boasts Fender Custom Shop's Time Capsule finish, and ultra-thin finish that'll age wonderfully along with the player.

Features We Love:

Custom Shop Built

Home to some of the most talented luthiers in the world, Fender Custom Shop has been producing incredible guitars since they first opened back in 1987. With a wealth of knowledge and skill all under one roof, each guitar is instilled with some of that Custom Shop magic.

Nocaster Wiring

A guitar ahead of its time in so many ways, the original run of Telecaster's features an innovative wiring circuit. Instead of the now-more-common Neck/Both/Bridge setup, Position 3 gives you the neck pickup with a preset Bass level, Position 2 is Neck pickup with no tone control, and position 1 gives you Neck AND Bridge together, with the Blend knob activated to blend in as much as you wish to temper your sound.

It's hard to believe that this circuit was the forerunner to others, all the way back in the early '50s, but that was the genius of Mr. Fender!

Time Capsule Finish

This guitar boasts the Fender Custom Shop's Time Capsule finish. This ultra thin finish allows for stunning resonance in the instrument, and sports no relic-ing, giving it the look of a fresh out the box guitar from the early '50s. As a result, this guitar will age handsomely with the player, just like the originals back in the day.
