What we say:

At A Glance

The Gretsch G5260 Electromatic Jet in Bristol Fog may just make it to the top of our list of favourite baritone guitars. With classic looks courtesy of the Bristol Fog finish body with silver appointments and great usable tones thanks to the mini-humbuckers and not to mention the Baritone scale length. Every aspect of this guitar makes it a head-turner and those looking for a vintage style guitar with some dirty low end need look no further!

Features We Love:

Baritone

Baritone guitars use a longer scale length (in this case 29¾") to allow for lower tunings without the loss of string tension. The use of Baritone has been popular across many genres of music including country, metal and jazz, as well as being a regular feature of Spaghetti Western movies.

Thin U Neck Profile

The use of a slender "U" shaped neck makes this guitar extremely comfortable to play. Even for smaller sized hands, complex chording is easily executed and hand fatigue is reduced.

Gretsch Mini Humbucker Pickups

These humbucking pickups capture the low-end nature of this guitar whilst retaining that signature Gretsch allure. For clean, overdriven, and all tones in between, your guitar will always have definition, bite and a charming character.

Who Is It For?

The guitarist who wants to add a lower sound option to their tonal selection or those who regularly play in lower tunings.

Highlights:

  • Heaps of style
  • Designed for lower tunings
  • Excellent range of tones
