What we say:
At A Glance:
The Suhr Ian Thornley Signature T, is built for versatility. Ian Thornley, of the band Big Wreck, is known for his virtuosity as well as his exceptional song-writing and vocal ability. This model has been designed to take you anywhere you need to go, from big driving riffs, to soaring leads, and crystal cleans. It can all be managed easily with the versatile array of pickups in this T model.
Features We Love:
Suhr Quality
One only has to look at the artist roster for Suhr guitars to realise that they are relied upon by some of the biggest names in music. This reputation is only gained through a consistent exceptional level of quality and that is exactly what Suhr provide. This quality and experience doesn't stop at the foundation of the guitar it goes right through to the pickups which are also designed and built by Suhr. These pickups are the first choice for many artists on the roster.
HSH Versatility
This set of pickups are quite the opposite of the simple T design. Providing a wealth of tones from vintage to modern. In the neck position the SSV provides a dynamic vintage output with little compression to keep the sound open. The bridge humbucker, the SSH+, is on the other hand a high output pickup designed to deliver a confident punch of tone while still sounding musical. This pickup has a tight low end with plenty of midrange grunt. Snugly between these two pickups is the Suhr V60 single coil. Clear bell-like highs, warm and present mids, and a solid low end give you everything you need to bridge between the two humbuckers.
Stainless Steel Frets
This Suhr is built to last. These stainless steel frets will not only last a lot longer than nickel frets they'll also play with a silky smoothness every time you pick up the guitar.
