D'Angelico Excel Tour Collection Mini DC Solid Wine

I was a little nervous ordering a guitar online without playing it first. Ordered late Friday and wasn't expected until Monday. Delivered a day early on the Sunday! The guitar plays perfectly right out of the box. Very well set up with a lovely low action. Beautiful finish. Wouldn't hesitate to order online in the future from guitar guitar.

Bought the guitar as a gift for my dad, the staff in the Edinburgh shop were a great help from start to finish - sent me pictures of the guitar as I don’t live in Edinburgh (closest branch) so that I could see a more true colour, provided the quote to purchase it direct from them. The team had it packaged up and ready to ship same day. DPD as their own entity were a let down with delivering to the wrong location but that is no fault to the shop as they provided all the correct details. The guitar arrived and was exactly as described and seen in photos, it plays lovely, has a very smooth finish to it. Features wise, I didn’t chose the guitar to have every bell and whistle imaginable, but for what the pre-sale cost could have been I would expect more from D’Angellico. Not disappointed in the purchase as the build and quality is great, it plays great and has a fantastic sound quality from it (less some minor fret buzz). I’d absolutely buy another and will absolutely deal with GuitarGuitar again as the staff were brilliant.

This was a bit of a risk purchase for me as I prefer to try the actual instrument in the shop before I buy. That said, it's a fantastic guitar, and up there with some of the bigger names around.
