The AJ80ce Jumbo is a powerhouse guitar of incredible value, with a broad, articulate projection, lots of low end and shimmering trebles.

Like all Artist Series guitars, our jumbos are designed to offer a rewarding playing experience. In this model we use our FST2 bracing system which works so well with the amount of air volume a large guitar body produces. The forward shifted pattern with asymmetric scalloped tone bars allows the venation to escape while adding enough stiffness to achieve great clarity, separation and even volume across all six strings.

This cutaway model allows for easy access up the neck and is fitted with the LR Baggs StagePro Bronze. The StagePro Bronze is a small-footprint side-mounted EQ incorporating the renowned LR Baggs Element under-saddle pickup. This is a low-profile unit with a large backlit tuner, volume, bass and treble controls and phase. The battery box is built into the end pin jack compartment for easy access with a simple push to open and change batteries.

when you purchase online, biggest negative obviously don't get to play it first. so when you ask the seller, as you have reservations to check it, and again they didn't. your expectations change. As I expected action is a little high, which is what I asked to check. the guitar it self is well made and has a some very nice binding, for a jumbo its loud and full. it was almost in tune just flat, the pick up system is good works well. thankfully I have a plenty 9 volt batteries. They don't supply. I get that they have time restrictions to ensure sent within a certain time scale. It's my second Alvarez, for the price point they are very good guitars. Unfortunately, most guitars shops or online sellers, its all about Taylor, nothing wrong with that, just that there are plenty of other makes to consider. my local guitar shop half hour away, is guilty of Taylor, a little elitist if im honest. they tend stock big names only.
