Following from the success of his Signature edition Crush bass 50 combo, it is with great pleasure we announce the launch of the Glenn Hughes Signature O Bass again in a striking purple finish. Upgrades from the standard O Bass include a Seymour Duncan SPB-1 Bass Pickup installed and Chequerboard binding around the body and headstock for a classic and distinctive feel and look. Comes with gig bag with printed Orange logo and alternative 3-ply scratchplate (both: Ivory and Black).

My first bass, after playing guitar for 10 years. Probably should have gone to buy one in store but couldn’t resist when I saw this online. Arrived quick, looks amazing, and sounds good to me. Still, it’s not without flaw. It has massive neck dive, which seems to be standard with the O-bass. Mine came with some fret buzz and it hums due to lack of shielding, things that will need to be fixed at some point- yay. Also I’ve already had to replace the screw in the strap button by the neck as that came loose whilst playing. Despite all this it’s still bringing me joy
