Pairing layered Big Leaf maple back and sides with a solid torrefied spruce top yields a modern classical tone with enhanced warmth, depth and projection. Our special roasting process for the soundboard adds a hint of extra sweetness for a played-in sound right out of the box. Chief Guitar Designer Andy Powers adapted our nylon-string bracing pattern to deliver a clear, open nylon voice with longer sustain and impressive touch sensitivity.

The black, gloss-finished Hard Rock maple neck’s 12-fret configuration ensures a player-friendly handfeel, while a 1-7/8-inch nut width and 20-inch fretboard radius are more comfortable than a traditional classical neck. A bold black body with a lustrous gloss finish accentuates the guitar’s contrasting visual details: a single-ring Italian acrylic rosette with black/white/black purfling, white body binding with black/white/black top purfling, classical nickel tuners with faux pearl buttons, and a white heel cap. It comes equipped with an onboard ES-N pickup for clear amplified nylon sound when plugged in and ships in a lightweight brown Taylor AeroCase.
