This was my first time purchasing from guitarguitar and I am very happy. First of all I have to mention the fact that they disclose whether an instrument is ex-demo and reduce the price accordingly. Many other retailers who will remain nameless (but it rhymes with handersons ;) ) do not do this and just sell them as new. I know this because I nearly bought one myself. Only a last minute enquiry revealed the truth, that the guitar had been on a wall for a year being demoed, yet they were selling it as new at new price. If I hadn't asked, they wouldn't have told. To me this is very dishonest. Guitarguitar however, disclose that it was ex-demo, provide excellent detailed photos of any wear or defects so you can make an informed decision and reduce the price accordingly. So I was fully aware of the condition and history of what I would be getting. Also the price reduction was in my opinion very fair for the condition of the guitar. I feel like I got a great deal. As for the guitar itself, I love it. it plays beautifully. The quality is very impressive for the price. As I had read elsewhere, it may have an LTD logo but it feels like an ESP. Low light action. The Fishman pickup sounds excellent and the third voice of the MT sig is a nice bonus. The single pickup thing is exactly what I wanted and is far from a negative. People don't realise the benefits a single pickup guitar has, which are too long to explain here. Visually, I love the quirky chopped off 24th fret, no one needs that part anyway :) Steel frets, locking tuners, gotoh strap locks, all welcome bonuses. I was already a fan of the classic hipshot bridge, but this new high mass brass version I love even more. I think it is my favourite hardtail bridge I have ever used. The only criticism I have is an ESP trend which I knew would be present, the battery being behind a screwed on panel. Personally I prefer a nice easy hinged door, but it is not a huge problem. Just a little less convenient. Overall I am very happy and have no real complaints at all.
