Heavy Guitars

Heavy Guitars are a great choice for rock and metal. For decades, guitarists searching a loud and distorted sound have managed to achieve this from features like high output pickups such as humbuckers, along with other player-enhanced specifications such as thinner fast necks and sharper cutaways for enhanced upper-fret access. Metal guitars often feature aggressive body shapes although there are many Superstrat options to choose from. Heavy metal guitars have been used by bands such as Slipknot, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth and Metallica's guitarists James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett. If you are looking for good guitars for metal with a more traditional body shape then signature models from the guitarists of Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath would be a good choice. For those keen to sweep, shred, and riff, then Steve Vai's signature model the JEM is a popular pick. There are also 7 string and 8 string models as well as baritone guitars which allow for a heavier low end.

We have a wide selection of models available, from affordable beginner metal guitars to high-end choices for the professional touring and recording musician. We are confident you'll find something to suit your needs.
