The 1959 ES-355 Reissue in Bourbon Burst is a stunning tribute to Gibson’s most refined thinline semi-hollow model, now reimagined as part of Gibson Custom’s Limited Edition Collection. Inspired by years of Made to Measure requests and the ingenuity of the Nashville-based Custom Shop team, this limited-run reissue captures the elegance, tonal complexity, and unmistakable character of the original, with thoughtful updates that enhance its performance and authenticity.

The top and back are bound in multi-ply binding, and the Murphy Lab Heavy Aged Bourbon Burst finish adds decades of character, giving the guitar the look and feel of a well-loved vintage original from Gibson’s first Golden Age.

The ebony fretboard features 22 medium jumbo frets, mother-of-pearl block inlays, and single-ply binding.
