This Fender Custom Shop 61 Stratocaster Heavy Relic in 3 Tone Sunburst, Master Built by Ron Thorn sports a Heavy Relic finish which evokes the idea of a stunning, decades old instrument that's been someone's cherished, but well used, main guitar for a long career. This guitar wears it's inspiration proudly on its sleeve, with a host of features based on the early days of the legendary Stratocaster. Features like 60 Style Oval "C" neck profile, vintage style tuning machines and Custom Shop Vintage synchronised tremolo, really impart that sense of playing a truly decades old guitar, while the superb Handwound '50s Strat Singlecoil pickups deliver all the honk and sparkle you expect of an old school Strat sound. Just the kind of magic you only find at the Fender Custom Shop.

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
Additional Information: A fantastic example of a master built guitar by one Rod Thorn, this '61 Strat oozes vibe, is nice and light due to the high quality of wood and is beautifully aged for that vintage vibe. Loaded with hand wired 50's pick ups and an oval 60's style neck this a dream to play.
