In great Hofner tradition the Verythin has a much smaller, thinner body profile than conventional semi-hollowbody guitars. All Hofner guitars have a traditional hollow body design with f-holes to give a warm smooth sound. The Standard has a maple top, back and sides. Hofner has fitted it with a hand-carved solid spruce center block to aid sustain and eliminate feedback. The neck is hand-crafted from European hard rock maple and it sports a rosewood fingerboard, two “full-size” humbucker pickups and nickel-plated hardware. Controls include individual volume and tone for each pickup with a 3-way switch.

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
