Ibanez made the Gio range in order to supply all guitarists with a good quality rock guitar that would sound good and be reliable but also be very affordable. Importantly, it proudly displays the Ibanez logo on the headstock, not some other name for a cheaper range. This proves that Ibanez are serious about their commitment to making this an affordable range of real quality.
The GSA is based on the Saber range, a slightly more curvy relative of the RG. These models are popular with fusion and prog players as well as hard rockers and metal fans. The H/S/S pickup layout make this extremely versatile and a good tremolo unit seals the deal.
