What we say:

At A Glance:

This Collings OM2H is an expertly crafted modern acoustic with a vintage feel. Collings excel at crafting acoustics with a vintage feel and sound and the OM2H does exactly this. By combining pre-war scalloped X-bracing with hand selected tonewoods, you get an acoustic that has a very authentic aged sound but has been expertly crafted to the highest of standards. With its compact body shape, it is very portable and comfortable to play for long periods of time. Great for live use and studio sessions!

Features We Love:

Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish

This guitar has had a very thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish applied. While it keeps with the traditional look it also combines with the natural tone of the wood to give a very lively and reactive sound, putting you in full control of your playing.

Tonewood Combination

The tonewoods used on this model give it a unique sound. The Sitka spruce on top and East Indian rosewood back and sides create a crisp tone that also comes across with a warmth and beautiful balance.

Hand Voiced

Each guitar by Collings has a hand selected top that has been picked for its density and rigidity. It's then graduated down to the desired thickness to achieve premium tonal potential.

Highlights:

  • Captures the sound of a pre-war era acoustic
  • Crafted to incredibly high standards
  • An absolute joy to play
