Frequently Bought Together
Famously played by Tom Petty, David Gilmour and Stevie Ray Vaughan, we defined the 12-string sound in the 1960s and these iconic guitars continue to be the most sought after 12-string models today. The F-512, made in Southern California, continues this legacy through a jumbo shape, solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides.
Condition Report
At guitarguitar, we award our used gear a grade from 1-5 according to its overall condition, with 5 being the best.
This item was appraised as follows:
Body: 3 out of 5 - Instrument has been used and shows evidence of its life in the forms of checking, chips and other superficial wear and tear. Metal parts and hardware may be mildly tarnished or stained and cosmetically imperfect.
Neck: 3 out of 5 - The frets have mild wear and/or pitting and may require profiling or replacement in future if the guitar is played extensively, although this work is not required immediately and the guitar plays and frets cleanly at present.
Additional Information: Visible repair to face of guitar on bottom right corner. Repaired crack to neck. Both repairs have been inspected by our in-store luthier, and look to be very stable repairs. Some lacquer checking to the top of the guitar.
