Our 12-fret 00 produces a surprising amount of volume from a small-body guitar. Very clear and balanced in tone, it’s braced for light gauge strings, and designed with the finger-style player in mind. The 00 pairs Engelmann spruce with Indian rosewood for the standard woods. It features Indian rosewood body binding, six-line top purfling, and our vintage-style straight bridge.

Huss and Dalton Guitar Company, Inc. took root in the fertile soil of the Shenandoah Valley, late in the summer of 1995, when Jeff Huss and Mark Dalton’s friendship and mutual interests inspired them to envision eminently playable, resonant, and attractive guitars that were true to their sense of aesthetics and tone. While the luthiers appreciated traditional design, they imagined a guitar that paid homage to tradition and also incorporated improvements to the structure and cosmetics of the distinctly American steel-string guitar.

Today, Huss & Dalton builds the world’s finest acoustic, electric guitars and banjos in both traditional and contemporary styles.

Condition Report

At guitarguitar, we award our used gear a grade from 1-5 according to its overall condition, with 5 being the best.

This item was appraised as follows:

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish.  There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish/paintwork.

Neck: 4 out of 5 -The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.

Additional Information: In fantastic condition for a pre-owned guitar. The body has some incredibly light scratches here and there, but they can only be seen upon very close inspection. The neck and frets are also in great condition, with only very minor wear. This example pairs an Engelmann Spruce top with Indian Rosewood back and sides, offering a very balanced and responsive tone, ideal for fingerpicking styles.

This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.

Accessories Included with this item are as follows: Original Huss & Dalton hard case.

We photograph each preowned item/instrument individually using a professional quality photography setup to make sure you see detailed, high resolution images which you can zoom into and explore.
