What we say:
At A Glance
The Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Junior Double Cut Reissue in TV Yellow is like stepping back in time thanks to the hugely talented Custom Shop luthiers. The 50s were an exciting time for Gibson, with 1958 being especially important due to the new models that were first released then. One of them was the double cut version of the Les Paul Junior. It was loved for its simplicity, thick tone, and excellent upper fret access - 3 things which are still very much appreciated! Other features such as the solid mahogany body with no weight relief make this guitar very resonant and warm sounding; exactly what we want to experience from a gorgeous Les Paul Junior Double Cut Reissue.
Features We Love:
As Simple As It Gets
For those who like to plug in and play, it doesn't get much more straight forward than this. A single Custom Dog-Ear P90 bridge pickup, a Wraparound bridge, and single Volume and Tone controls mean you can get straight down to business.
Accurate and Faithful
This isn't just an approximation of what a 1958 Les Paul Junior Double Cut would have been like. From the vintage-style wiring to the hide glue construction and 50s Rounded Medium C neck shape, this guitar has been finely crafted to give you an experience that is as close as possible to going back in time and playing the real deal.
Gibson Custom Shop Quality
This is a Gibson Custom Shop guitar which means it is one of the finest instruments around.
