PRS Tekton

PRS Tekton is a brand-new range of guitars from PRS named after the ancient Greek word for "artisan" or "craftsman", specifically a carpenter or woodworker. PRS Tekton reflects the philosophy behind this guitar: combining thoughtful craftsmanship with modern performance. These guitars feature a new shape that PRS have designed especially for the Tekton series which is still distinctly PRS, with a choice of figured wood tops or bold finishes bringing the style. One of the most exciting things about the Tekton series is the new seven-string SVN model!

The neck on PRS Tekton guitars is a modern D shape for a fast, smooth feel, and offset dot inlays and luminlay side dots mean you'll always know where you are. The fingerboard features a flatter radius of 16", and stainless steel frets offer a truly modern feel, while the newly sculpted neck joint/heel allows for great upper-fret access on the bolt-on neck construction.

The new Stylus pickups are high output pickups that have been designed especially for the Tekton, and work just as well with traditional valve amps or today's digital modelling rigs. The dynamics of these pickups are impressive, providing aggressive, driven sounds while keeping note clarity, even with high gain! The switching options allow for them to be used as humbuckers or split. These dual high-output humbuckers are seated directly in the body with no traditional pickup rings for that modern look.

There is a choice between Floyd Rose 1000 series or PRS Two-Point tremolo bridges, or a hardtail model for different playing styles. Coupled with a stunning range of colours and a choice of 6-string and 7-string configurations there really is a perfect Tekton for anyone looking to pick one up!
