Events: Balaguer Guitars Facebook Takeover

Published on 19 August 2020

We always make a point of looking for new, exciting guitar brands that do things differently. As much love as we have for traditional models, there's never been more independent builders and brands out there doing things from the ground up - in short, it's a really exciting time to be a guitarist. One of our favourite builders that we've recently started stocking is the Pennsylvania based Balaguer Guitars. Creating really distinctive looking and sounding axes that are a delight to play, we absolutely love the feel, sound and aesthetics of their instruments; from the more traditional models to the slightly wackier! Billing themselves as “Where Modern Design Meets Vintage Inspiration.”, Balaguer have always tried to improve on some of our favourite shapes and styles but never fail to leave their own mark.

With Chinese, Korean and USA built models, all sporting some really cool features and packing a lot into their prices, we see these as some of the most interesting and attention-grabbing guitars in the market, so we thought we'd let you guys find out a little more about them.

The Details

On the 27th of this month at 8:00 PM, we're very pleased to welcome Joe Balaguer himself to takeover our Facebook Live Stream! Aside from looking at Balaguer's standard models and checking out a few of his very favourites, Joe will be discussing an exciting new pedal range along with some really special limited runs that Balaguer are currently working on. The stream is a great opportunity to ask any questions you have and to learn a little more about a real down to earth grassroots guitar brand from the man behind it. Joe is not only the President, Owner and Founder of the brand but also their Head Luthier so no one on the planet knows more about these guitars than him. This is the perfect introduction to the brand for anyone who hasn't been lucky enough to try a Balaguer out yet - you don't want to miss it!
