What's This Event All About?
We’ve teamed up with Shure and award winning Scottish singer Jasmine Dey to deliver a very rare treat for all the vocalists out there: a vocal technique masterclass for all levels, happening at our Camden store this May!
Jasmine Dey will host a 90 minute workshop during which she will go over a range of vocal warm-ups, followed by a short lecture on professional vocal technique. She will go on to demonstrate the professional microphone technique, giving you tips and advice on how to prepare for vocal auditions and much more!
Jasmine will also briefly chat about her career as a professional singer and close the evening with an in-depth Q&A: every one will get a chance to participate, ask questions and gain the confidence you need to take your singing to the next level!
Plus.. every attendee will receive a sweet Shure-branded goody bag upon arrival.
Meet The Artist: Jasmine Dey
Jasmine has over 20 years of performance experience across several genres of music. She competed in local and national traditional Scottish singing competitions and concerts (including performing at the Scottish Parliament) and undertook lead roles in musical theatre productions. On top of that, Jasmine has been singing in rock bands since her teens, writing, recording and gigging as well as undertaking session work, most notably contributing female lead vocals for rock musical ‘Voice of a Generation’ by John Sinclair (Uriah Heap, Ozzy Osbourne). In 2020 Jasmine Dey released her debut alt-rock album under the pseudonym Modern Sonder. Dey has been working as a vocal coach for over 10 years and has helped many singers find, develop and maintain their true vocal potential.
The Details & How To Book
Vocal Technique Masterclass with Shure Microphones and Jasmine Dey will take place on Tuesday the 12th May at 7:00 pm at guitarguitar Camden.
This workshop is free and all singing levels are welcome but you must order a ticket as spaces are limited.
