What we say:

At A Glance:

The Shure PGA57 is an affordable dynamic instrument. Based on the classic SM57, the PGA57 delivers consistent tones for acoustic instruments, guitar amps and drums, and features that legendary Shure build quality. This version of the PGA57 includes a cable with a standard 1/4" jack connection.

Features We Love:

Dynamic Instrument Microphone

Shure's dynamic cardioid microphones feature a tried and tested design that has become the industry standard for stage and studio use. The microphone features a clear tone and can accept high sound pressure levels, making it ideal for loud sources like guitar amps and cabs and snare drums and tom-toms. The mic is also excellent for use on quieter acoustic instruments thanks to its directional sound that can can clearly capture what you point it at while rejecting sound from the instruments around it.

Included Accessories

This version of the PGA57 comes with a cable that features a standard XLR connection, suitable for connecting to most mixers and audio interfaces. Inside the box, you'll also find a clip for attaching the mic to a stand plus a zipper carry case.
