Michael Anthony is a bassist who has seen it all, done it all and has lived to tell the tale!
Known in the past for playing a bass shaped like a whiskey bottle, this hell-raiser has calmed down a little these days and his signature Schecter is the epitome of good taste within a hard rock context.
This bass has a visual style that takes a page from the classic 50's P-style design and brings it up to date with binding and a cool Carbon Grey finish. A pair of Schecter USA Monster Tone pickups in a P-J configuration (one split coil and one single coil) make this very versatile and powerful.
The body is Alder and the maple/walnut mulit-ply neck has a 34" scale length and a 12" radius for an immediately familiar and comfortable playing experience. You don't have to be 'Runnin' With the Devil' or indeed 'Hot for Teacher' to see that this superlative bass will fit in any musical context you want it to and perform it with style.
