By combining pre-war scalloped X-bracing with hand selected tonewoods, you get an acoustic that has a very authentic aged sound but has been expertly crafted to the highest of standards. Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish

This guitar has had a very thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish applied. While it keeps with the traditional look it also combines with the natural tone of the wood to give a very lively and reactive sound, putting you in full control of your playing.

Tonewood Combination

The tonewoods used on this model give it a unique sound. The Sitka spruce on top and East Indian rosewood back and sides create a crisp tone that also comes across with a warmth and beautiful balance.

Hand Voiced

Each guitar by Collings has a hand selected top that has been picked for its density and rigidity. It's then graduated down to the desired thickness to achieve premium tonal potential.
