Although it is designed for use with the Scarlett series, OctoPre Dynamic is compatible with most audio interfaces that feature ADAT/Optical connections. With the eight additional inputs, you'll have enough channels to record full drum kits, choirs and execute advanced mic techniques.
Compression
Each input features an analog soft-knee compressor that gives you subtle control of your dynamics. The ratio of the compressor can also be doubled using the More button to give you more aggressive compression. This is a great feature for tightening up the sound of what you're recording.
