What we say:

At A Glance:

The OM-18 Authentic 1933 from Martin is here to remind you why you loved Martin guitars in the first place.
Martin based the 1933 on an actual OM-18 built in 1933 which is on loan to the Martin museum, and boasts a range of period correct features including: the use of hide glue throughout, the Authentic 1933 neck barrel and heel and a circa 1933 bracing pattern.
The 1933 features the Martin Vintage Tone System (VTS). VTS is based on the Torrefaction process, and gives the 1933 a vintage sound and feel to match its classic look.

Features We Love:

Period Correct Features

Being based on an actual guitar from 1933, this guitar boasts some period-correct features that give it a timeless, vintage air right out the box.

Martin Vintage Tone System (VTS)

By utilising their VTS process, Martin processes the guitar's wood to deliver an aged sound that delivers the vintage authenticity to match the looks and features.

OM Body Shape

OM shape acoustics are mid-sized guitars that make them comfortable to play and take with you anywhere. With less bass response than bigger acoustics it's more suited to being played finger-style, or for a solo performance.

Pros:

  • Gorgeous vintage tone
  • Gorgeous vintage looks
  • Literally the closest thing you'll get to a genuinely classic-era instrument.
