Laney A-Solo Combo Acoustic Amp

Wanted a light weight acoustic amp for vocal and guitar that didn't break the bank and after looking at several amps and reviews went for the Laney A Solo which has fitted the bill perfectly. It's a good looking compact little amp, easy to set up and full control of both channels in terms of eq/reverb/chorus etc which made it more versatile than some others in the same price bracket. Tried it out for real over the weekend in my Son's bar (The staying inn!) and it filled the room nicely and well appreciated by a small audience of family, friends and neighbours and I was thrilled to bits with my purchase! Loud enough for small venues, no feedback problems using a Fender F75 acoustic (nearly 50yrs old!) and a gibson magnetic pickup and beyer mic for vocals. Nicely reproduced my guitar sound both fingerstyle and strumming and vocals came across nicely too! Construction very sturdy and 8" speaker well protected by foam grill and easy to carry with handle on top. Ideal if you don't want to be setting up a full PA system for somewhere that doesn't need that much and you can always put it through a PA and use as a monitor!

Just what I expected as I had tried one before.
