Type A Series

Solar Guitar founder and YouTube celebrity Ola Englund designed the Type A Series of guitars with gigging guitarists in mind. All Access Neck Join

Unlike some classic guitars, the A-Series features a contoured cutaway where the neck joins the body which fits your hand as you reach up to the highest frets. The freedom to reach the highest frets without having to reach around the heel of the join matches the rest of the guitar's design that promotes fast and effortless playability.

Duncan Solar

Englund collaborated with Seymour Duncan to develop a pickup specifically for Solar Guitars. The Duncan Solar pickup is exclusive to Solar Guitars and compliments the guitar's alder body perfectly to create a tone with a tight low end and clear highs. Of course, it sounds amazing overdriven, but Ola knew it was important to clean up nicely and the result is a pickup that's versatile over a wide range of dynamics.
