What we say:

At A Glance:

The Orange Guitar Butler Guitar Preamp Pedal is up to serve you everything you need when it comes to tone. In a stylish and sturdy box this pedal was designed after the success of the wonderful Orange Bass Butler. Operating on the same core principles to provide a versatile platform for any player in any genre to centre their rig around. 2 great sounding independent channels form your foundation, and the versatile controls and outputs allow you to move in any direction you please. If you need a portable great sounding pedal rig, or just need a classic sounding overdrive at the centre of your pedalboard, the Guitar Butler has you covered.

Features We Love:

Classic Orange Tone

When it comes to overdrive tones Orange amps produce some of the most iconic. With JFET technology this pedal not only delivers on the response and feel of a tube amp, but the warm saturation we know and love from classic 70's overdrive tones.

2 Channels

Aiming to be an all in one pedal for many Orange have designed this with 2 independent channels. A brilliant clean channel that takes on other pedals very nicely, so it can be used in conjunction with your favourite distortion/fuzz pedals. In addition to this is a great 70's voiced overdrive channel with it's own volume boost. Both channels have their own independent EQ and volume controls giving you full flexibility over your tone.

Versatile Outputs

This pedal may be small but it includes everything you need just like a real amp. A buffered effects loop keeps those effects as high quality as they can be. A simple amp output with no cabinet simulation provides a quick and easy connection to any amplifier. A balanced output with cabinet simulation gives you an easy option to record straight to a DAW or even go to the Front of House mixer at any live show. There is even a handy Ground Lift switch should you ever encounter any pesky ground hum.

Highlights:

  • Classic Orange tones
  • Hugely versatile
  • Independent Channel EQ and Volume
  • Great for creating a compact rig
