What we say:

At A Glance

The SDJM-18 14 Fret is a lovely Slope Shoulder Dreadnought from Sigma. It features solid woods for a premium sound and look, plus being a dreadnought, it is a great all-rounder when it comes to different styles of music. It will be at home on any festival stage or would look equally great taking pride of place in your home collection. With its excellent wood selection and understated look, Sigma has produced a winner here.

Features We Love:

Solid Woods

Solid woods give a sound character far superior to that of laminate guitars. Sigma takes this one step further on the SDJM-18 by using AA Grade solid Adirondack spruce for the top, resulting in a striking tone that allows each note in a chord to come through with heaps of clarity. Paired up with the solid mahogany back and sides, the overall sound is strong and full; the kind you can only get from solid woods.

Slope Shoulder

The Slope Shoulder Dreadnought design allows for a more curved and softer looking silhouette that is incredibly comfortable. It offers a great alternative to the traditional dreadnought while still providing an excellent sound.

Sigma Quality

Sigma changed the game when they launched back in 1970. Since then, the company has cemented itself as one of the finest brands around, providing top-quality acoustic guitars at attainable prices. Regardless of which model you choose, their quality is excellent.

Who Is It For?

Guitarists who want a traditional and professional sound but in a smoother shaped dreadnought model will find lots to love in the SDJM-18.

Highlights:

  • Very comfortable shape
  • Solid woods produce a bold and satisfying sound
  • Great for strumming and picking styles
