The stand is well made and specific to the P225 digital piano. If you want your digital piano to look neat and tidy when not in use, the stand is worth the extra cost compared to generic temporary stands

It makes the piano look like a piece of furniture, and more stable than the folding sort. More difficult than envisaged to put together. For a 79year old with a knee replacement lying on the floor fitting screws into the base of the piano not the easiest of tasks. I managed in the end.
