The attention to detail is is immediately obvious from the Ziricote binding which encompasses the headstock, body and fretboard, with a herringbone top border, and elegant pearl inlays. The woods used to make the guitar are equally impressive, with a torrefied old-growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce top paired with Madagascar Rosewood back and sides. Thanks to these woods the guitar is extremely lively, with an incredible richness and complexity to the tone.

All Bourgeois Touchstone series guitars are incredible-sounding instruments, thanks to the hand-voicing process. The incredible luthiers at Bourgeois use a process called tap-tuning - by listening to the wood they are able to use their wealth of experience to know where and how to hand-carve the bracing in all the right places until it delivers the perfect tone.

The hand selected top is torrefied old-growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce, which means it's not only mature wood, but it's been further treated to be even harder and more responsive. The result is an extremely present and resonant tone that has to be heard to be believed.

The body, fingerboard are all adorned with a ziricote binding, with a classy herringbone highlighting the body shape. The inlays are intricately shaped pearl, adding another visual flair.
