What we say:

At A Glance:

The Gibson Hummingbird Studio EC Tri-Burst Satin is an American made acoustic guitar built with the performing musician in mind. The Studio EC is a continuation of Gibson's square shoulder body models but with extra expression possibilities due to the cutaway mahogany body. Also featuring a comfortable playing utile neck, a rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays and a fast-playing Round SlimTaper profile.

Features We Love:

Mahogany Cutaway

This model has everything that you would expect from a Hummingbird Studio and a little extra. The Mahogany cutaway body provides more playing possibilities, making it easier to reach those higher frets. Performing solos or lead parts to your music becomes simple with the upper fret access.

Solid Woods

Being constructed of solid woods, this guitar has a large and balanced sound. With its Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, whether you are strumming or fingerpicking, it sounds great every time.

Who Is It For?

If you want that iconic Gibson Hummingbird sound but with comfortable playing all along the fretboard.

Highlights:

  • Cutaway For Easy Upper Fret Access
  • Fast Playing Round SlimTaper Profile
  • Loud and Balanced Sound
