The JCSR2023 features a maple burl top on a double-cutaway Honduran mahogany body bolted to a maple and purpleheart neck with a matching headstock and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl and abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single 5 passive pickups with wood covers routed through an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp with 3-band EQ with adjustable mid-frequency crossover point and a bypass switch, individually mounted Mono-rail Vs bridges with adjustable 16.5mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut, gold hardware, and Gotoh tuning machines.
