Wonderful Playability
The Atkin O37 has a small body, a shorter scale length and a neck that joins at the 14th fret. All of this helps to make the guitar feel intimate and close to the player as they play. The slotted headstock adds a different type of tension, too. The flat 16" radius Ebony fingerboard is a lovely surface to play on, making the whole experience a joy.
Hand-Built Quality
Atkin guitars are all hand-made in Canterbury by a small team of dedicated builders. Their artisanal skills and commitment to quality are obvious the second you cast eyes (or hands) upon any of their instruments. This O37 is no exception.
Vintage Style Appointments
The O37 features some beautiful vintage style appointments that perfectly sets the mood when you pick up the guitar to play. Including tasteful mother of pearl inlays, herringbone purfling, a zipper style backstrip and grained ivoroid binding. The guitar has also been finished in nitrocellulose to give it a true vintage style aesthetic.
