We had the wonderful opportunity to work with Sigma and choose our own specs for this SOMR-28E. A solid Sitka Spruce top combined with Solid Sitka Spruce bracing provides a great soundboard, and combined with the Black Ebony bridge and tortoiseshell style pickguard it's a totally classic look. The Solid Indian Rosewood back and sides along with the mahogany neck and Black Ebony fingerboard complete the timber selection, and anchoring the strings with a bone nut and saddle, you have a resonant instrument with a fantastic sound and timeless aesthetic.
Fishman Sonitone
Aside from the foundational specs of this guitar that give it a beautiful sound, this acoustic also comes loaded with a Fishman Sonitone pickup to help amplify you when you need it. Fishman pickups have been at the forefront of pickup design for decades and the Sonitone offers a dynamic and natural sound for when you need that extra volume on any stage.
Grover Tuners
You can't go wrong with some trusty Grover tuning machines, the Special SOMR-28E features Nickel open-gear Grovers. Keeping you in tune as long as you play, these tuners add to the classic look of the instrument.
