This model adds paired octave courses on the third and fourth strings, which produce a splash of 12-string shimmer without sounding jangly.
Thanks to a slender Taylor neck and a 27-inch scale length that preserves normal string tension, the guitar offers signature Taylor playability—making it easy for standard 6-string acoustic players to transition smoothly into baritone territory. From crafting walking basslines to doubling standard tuned parts or leading solo performances, these guitars respond with warmth, depth and clarity.
