The Ashdown UK-PBM-200 is a fresh take on the ultra-portable bass amplification concept pioneered by the Ashdown ANT, now rebuilt as a dedicated 200-watt micro head, hand-assembled in the UK and finished in bold Ice Blue.

Designed as a true PocketBass Magnifier, this amp delivers impressive volume, clarity, and tone-shaping control in a format compact enough to fit into a gig bag pocket or sit unobtrusively on top of any cabinet. Despite its size, the UK-PBM-200 offers a complete feature set for real-world musicians. A responsive 3-band EQ provides essential tone control, while the classic Pre Shape switch instantly delivers a polished, mix-friendly contour. The inclusion of a DI output ensures reliable connectivity for stage or studio work, while the Headphone Out and Line Input make it perfect for quiet home practice with backing tracks. With auto-voltage capability, the UK-PBM-200 adapts instantly to international power sources, making it a natural companion for touring bassists or players on the move. Lightweight and built to Ashdown’s high standards, it retains the clean, defined, no-nonsense tone that made the ANT a favourite, now with the practicality and versatility of a dedicated head format.
