What we say:
At A Glance:
The Bourgeois Touchstone Country Boy Dreadnought is considered the workhorse fof the Bourgeois line - an ideal go-to guitar for professional and aspiring artists for both stage and studio. The guitar is built with an Alaskan Sitka Spruce top harvested from deep in Bourgeois' backyard. This is paired with Mahogany back and sides for a punchy tone with a warm, woody feeling and heaps of sustain.
All Bourgeois Touchstone series guitars are incredible-sounding instruments, thanks to the hand-voicing process. The incredible luthiers at Bourgeois use a process called tap-tuning - by listening to the wood they are able to use their wealth of experience to know where and how to hand-carve the bracing in all the right places until it delivers the perfect tone. The Aged Tone Sitka Spruce top adds even more resonance and liveliness.
Features We Love:
Hand-Voiced For Resonance
Each Bourgeois Touchstone guitar goes through a painstaking process to bring out the natural frequencies of the soundboard. This attention to detail results in phenomenal tone.
Decades of Lutherie Experience
The design of the Bourgeois Touchstone Vintage Dreadnought draws on Dana Borgeois' nearly half-century of lutherie experience and the many Dreadnoughts he has built in that time.
Body Woods
The hand-selected Alaskan Sitka Spruce Top is harvested directly from sources local to Bourgeois and delivers a classic resonance and sustain, with the Mahogany back and sides adding even more sustain and a warm, woody punch.
Who Is It For?
This guitar is a perfect choice for a professional looking for an instrument that is simple, reliable and delivers phenomenal tone whether it is in the studio or on stage. It's also a great choice for musicians aspiring to that kind of professionalism, or hobbyists with a bit more to spend on a premium instrument.

- Individually tap-tuned top
- Classic looks and tone
