Bourgeois Touchstone Series Standard Series Sloped Shoulder Dreadnought takes the classic and iconic design of the slope shouldered dreadnought and refines it with Borgeois' decades of lutherie experience. The top of the guitar is Aged Tone SItka Spruce and has been tuned by hand to ensure the wood is as resonant as responsive as it can be. This is paired with mahogany back and sides to deliver a punch and a warm, woody character with extremely impressive sustain.
All Bourgeois Touchstone series guitars are incredible-sounding instruments, thanks to the hand-voicing process. The incredible luthiers at Bourgeois use a process called tap-tuning - by listening to the wood they are able to use their wealth of experience to know where and how to hand-carve the bracing in all the right places until it delivers the perfect tone.
