What we say:

At A Glance:

The Tyler Studio Elite HDX has been crafted to be the perfect fusion of tradition and innovation. This head-turning guitar features a perfect pairing of an Alder body with a quartersawn maple neck. The feel is unmistakably Tyler, with the ST64 neck profile delivering an incredibly comfortable and premium feel. Hipshot locking tuners and the G2TS tremolo system allows for expressive vibrato and pitch bends whilst keeping the guitar perfectly in tune.

Tyler are well-known for their incredible sounding pickups, and the HSS configuration means this guitar is super tonally versatile. A midboost preamp and additional pickup switching means it can cover an astonishingly wide range. While the Studio Elite HDX is rooted in classic design, these features take it to a whole new level. The iconic headstock shape and Shmear finish give this guitar is own visual identity that's unmistakably Tyler. Whether you are touring the world, laying down tracks in the studio, or perfecting your skills at home, this is a guitar that can handle it all with ease.

Features We Love:

Tyler Build Quality

James Tyler began his career by performing guitar upgrades and repairs in the early 70s. Over the next 20 years his reputation for precision work grew and he became a go-to luthier of top session players in the LA studio scene. In the late 80s the first Tyler guitar was unveiled, taking everything he'd learned from dealing with musicians and using that knowledge to create the ultimate performer's guitar.

Tyler Pickups

James Tyler pickups are the cream of the crop. With a Super humbucker in the bridge and JTS5500 single coil pickups in the middle and neck, we have a guitar that's ready to explore a whole range of tonal possibilities.

Mid Boost

The onboard mid boost is one of Tyler's best known features, and really sets them apart from many other guitars. Having a mid boost built into your guitar allows for all sorts of tonal changes whether it's taking your amp into breakup or emphasising those mid frequencies to cut through a mix. This is an extremely powerful tool to have at your fingertips, as unlike a pedal it can be easily tweaked mid-performance.

Highlights:

  • World-class design and build quality
  • Versatile tonal options make this guitar a fit for most genres
  • Hipshot locking tuners offer precision tuning
