Captor X Pro runs a triple-voiced load architecture—two reactive voicings and one resistive mode—delivering absolute authority over the companion amplifier’s feel and response. Engage Reactive – Natural for Two notes’ authentic speaker-like load response, replicating the impedance behaviour of a real cabinet for a familiar, organic ampto- load interaction. Switch to Reactive – Presence for greater top-end definition and a more subdued resonance peak, tightening articulation while keeping movement and harmonic detail intact. Select the Resistive mode and the response firms up with a flatter impedance curve and warmer tonal characteristics—focused, immediate, and consistent when precision takes priority. Three load voicings - three distinct behaviors - adapt the character as required.

Consolidate your backline into a single, unified system via Captor X Pro’s mono pre- and stereo post-FX loops. Position dynamic- and frequency-based processors pre the embedded Torpedo processing, while time-based effects live after the DSP, preserving clarity, stereo width, and separation throughout the signal path. The mono pre-FX return doubles as a line-level input, allowing external preamps and modelers to feed directly into Torpedo processing and the stereo Line/DI outputs. For added flexibility, the mono pre-FX send can be repurposed as a pure, unprocessed amp DI—exactly what the amplifier delivers, nothing added.
