The Super Duchess V140 Head

The Super Duchess V140 a 100-watt, single-channel, all-valve guitar amplifier with valve-driven spring reverb and tremolo, evolved from the Heritage Series V40 Deluxe.

Victory Amps have added a couple of tweaks over the 40-watt model. First, V140 The Super Duchess has a long-tank, valve-driven spring reverb for huge, smooth and deep ’verb (V40 Deluxe has a short-tank reverb). Second, there’s an additional, newly voiced Mid Kick switch option – now three-position instead of two – to add even more upper midrange focus and cut if you want it.

V112CC Cabinet

IDEAL FOR: A highly portable rig when paired with V40 The Duchess. Exactly the same as the V112-CB, but in cream vinyl to match V40 The Duchess.

SPEAKER CHARACTERISTICS: The G12M-65 Creamback is less sensitive/efficient (97dB) than the Vintage 30 and also the H-75 Creamback, using a medium-magnet (35 ounce) 12-inch driver. Celestion regard it as a 'more powerful Greenback' and that is the perfect description. Expect that classic, 'woody' tone and feel to add colour to your medium gain sounds, with a little speaker breakup to boot… albeit with a full 65 watts power handling which is 40 more than the standard Greenback. Compared with the 75-watt Creamback, the 65 is less sensitive/efficient so sounds less loud at equivalent amp volume settings. It has more colour to the tone overall, a looser bottom end and breaks up earlier.
