Smoked Eucalyptus Fingerboard
Smoked Eucalyptus isn't a wood that you'll often see on guitars, here Taylor are innovating with their wood choices and we're extremely pleased with the results. Taylor have chosen this particular wood for the fingerboard as it's relatively easy to darken the colour, giving it properties that are very similar to Indian Rosewood. As a very sustainable wood, we think this makes it a great choice!
All Solid Wood Construction
The AD12e features an all solid wood construction. The solid spruce top combined with the solid walnut presents a familiar resonance that works for many playing styles. This combo does have its unique qualities though boasting a bold midrange, and exceptional note-to-note definition that make it amazing for fingerstyle players and flatpickers!
Expression 2 System
This is widely recognised as one of the greatest acoustic pickup systems available. It translates every ounce of tone, detail and dynamic from your fingertips, strings and guitar wood. This gives the audience an accurate and fully realistic translation of your performance.
