Neck Design
This bass sports Fender's new Modern-D neck carve which gives you plenty of wood in the hand for solid comfort, while staying out the way enough to let you fly across the fretboard. Meanwhile, the 10"-14" Compound Radius fingerboard with Ultra rolled edges provides a comfortable fluidity that lets you take the lead every bit as well as you can hold that groove.

The American Ultra Precision Bass sports Fender's brand new Ultra Noiseless™ Vintage Precision Bass® pickup in its classic mid-position, paired with an Ultra Noiseless™ Vintage Jazz Bass® pickup in the bridge, and a redesigned active Preamp with 3-Band EQ, delivering a wealth of tonal possibilities - all perfectly hum-free!
Hardware
Fender's 4-Saddle HiMass™ bass bridge adds noticeable sustain, resonance and attack to your bass without significantly altering your tone. The reliable brass saddles and base transfer the full spectrum of your tone from the strings to the body and back again.
