About Fender American Performer Jazzmaster

The Fender American Performer Jazzmaster is perfect for players who love the sleek, space-age looks of the Jazzmaster but don't want the complicated circuitry and wobbly trem. It is also the most affordable American made Jazzmaster.

The Performer Jazzmaster has vintage vibe in spades thanks to its 70s style headstock and aerodynamic Jazzmaster shape. It is also a little more user-friendly and playable than the original style Jazzmaster. Rather than having two different circuits - for lead and rhythm - there is one circuit with simple Telecaster-style controls. The offset tremolo system and notorious bridge have been replaced with an expressive Stratocaster-style 6-point tremolo for greater reliability.

The American Performer Jazzmaster is equipped with Fender’s new Yosemite pickups. These are rich and clear and have a distinctly “hi-fi’ sound. These are combined with the Greasebucket Tone System which allows you to cut treble without muddying your sound. The Fender American Performer Jazzmaster has a slim neck with a 9.5” radius and jumbo frets. These features make them effortlessly playable.

Our Fender American Performer Jazzmaster guitars come included with a guitar bag.
