About Fender Vintera Stratocaster

The Fender Vintera Stratocaster reproduces classic Stratocasters from the 50s, 60s and 70s. In each of these decades, the Stratocaster had a particular look, feel and sound. The Vintera Strat aims to replicate these iconic guitars for a new generation of players. It is a celebration of bygone years but, most importantly, it is a robust, roadworthy workhorse.

There are two types of Fender Vintera Stratocaster: the Vintera and the Vintera Modified.

Vintera Strats are as close to period correct spec as possible. They have the original Fender 7.25” radius and small vintage fret wire. The pickups are voiced for that classic low output, bell-like tone we all know and love. They are also available in cool Road Worn finishes for that real old-school mojo!

The Vintera Modified Stratocaster has all the aesthetic trappings of a vintage Strat but with some subtle modern touches. They have slimmer necks, a flatter 9.5” radius, and bigger medium-jumbo frets. This makes them much easier to play than the vintage spec. They also have different pickups. Although they are voiced similarly, the Vintera Modified Strat is much higher output for a bit more modern snarl.
