About G&L Legacy

The G&L Legacy is a versatile, player-friendly guitar modelled after the Leo Fender designed G&L S-500 (not to mention that certain other Leo Fender designed guitar) and has a few Leo Fender innovations under the hood.

The G&L Legacy features the G&L PTB System which stands for ‘Passive Treble and Bass’. In almost all electric guitars there is a passive ‘Tone’ knob which rolls off brightness. In Leo’s PTB system there is a second tone knob which rolls off bass giving extraordinary control over tone. The G&L Legacy also boasts the Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato. This engineering marvel allows players to bend up and down with incredible tuning stability.

The standard G&L Legacy comes with three vintage-voiced Alnico V Single Coil pickups with that famous chime but it is also available in HH and HSS configurations. The G&L Legacy is made both in the famous Fullerton factory in California and as part of the affordable Tribute Series made in Indonesia.
