Josh Smith graced guitarguitar Camden with his hypnotising playing style that has put him on world stages alongside legends such as B.B. King and Joe Bonamassa.

And yes, you guessed it: along with Ibanez, we brought Josh Smith to YOU with a run of guitar clinics!

Combining elements of blues, rock and jazz to create a dynamic, original sound, Josh Smith is renowned for his powerful live performances. No wonder he's landed a sweet 16th position in the 30 best blues guitarists in the world today as ranked by Guitar World Magazine.

Aside from being an accomplished songwriter and a touring musician, Josh Smith is also a record producer who owns his own studio, Flat V, in Los Angeles. He has produced albums for artists such as Joanne Shaw Taylor, Artur Menzes and Bonamassa himself, among others.

The Details

Josh Smith hosted a series of guitar clinics in association with Ibanez guitars across four guitarguitar stores.

Attendees had a fantastic opportunity to learn guitar techniques from one of the best blues rock artists in the guitar community today. Josh presented his virtuosic playing on his very own signature Ibanez model FLATV1 (named after his recording studio, Flat V). He talked the audience through his writing process, played through some of his own songs and gave the audience advice for practice, recording and playing live. Josh is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable player with lots of sound advice for every player and was happy to answer questions from the audience.
